INDIA, 1882-87, -1/2a Green, Double Impression (SG 85a; Scott 36a).> With interpanneau selvage at bottom, used with -1/2a Green block of four with selvage at top and three singles of -1/4a on -1/2a Green (SG 85, 110; Scott 36, 53), all tied by “Nawabshah 15 AU 06” circular datestamps on registered cover to Daur (Hyderabad), boxed registration handstamp, Daur arrival backstamp, cover with small faults at bottom, therefore slightly refolded at bottom for display purposes^VERY FINE AND STUNNING -½-ANNA GREEN DOUBLE IMPRESSION USED ON COVER WITH FANTASTIC VISUAL APPEAL. BELIEVED TO BE THE UNIQUE EXAMPLE USED ON COVER.^Double impression errors from any country used legitimately on cover are few and far between. With 2011 B.P.A. certificate.
